Student, Developer and Team plans, payment methods, receipts, promo codes, and how Pro turns on.
Plans and prices

Lamied Pro uses your own API keys or a local model. Lamied Ultra includes Bedrock models for one person. Lamied Team includes the same Bedrock models for 3 members with shared session, weekly and monthly limits.
Every payment adds one month of the plan you paid for. Paying while Pro is still active adds the month on top of the time you have left, so you never lose days by renewing early. If you switch plans, the remaining prepaid time is converted by value to the new plan. Nothing renews automatically: when your month ends, the AI features lock until you pay again.

Choose a plan
- Sign in, then open the AI panel (Ctrl+J), or click Upgrade in the status bar. Click Plans to see prices, even if you already have Pro.
- Choose Lamied Pro, Lamied Ultra or Lamied Team. Team costs ETB 30,000 in total for 3 members. Discounted Pro student pricing needs an approved student ID, as below.
- The checkout opens inside the panel with the amount for your plan. Pay by bank transfer or Telebirr, as below.
Upgrade disappears from the status bar while you have Pro.
Student plan
The Student plan (499 ETB a month) is for current students. Before you can pay for it, we check your student ID by hand.
- On the Student card in the AI panel, click Choose student ID and pick a clear photo or scan of your current student ID: PNG, JPEG, WebP or PDF, up to 5 MB.
- The card shows the file you picked. Nothing is sent yet: click Choose a different file to change it, or Submit for review to send it.
- While it's being reviewed, the card says so. To send a better photo in the meantime, click Replace student ID, pick the new file and submit it; it takes the place of the one waiting.
- We email you the result, and the panel updates by itself. Once approved, choose Lamied Pro (Student) to use your discount. Ultra and Team remain available.

Lamied Pro
One person, 1,199 ETB a month. Use the AI features with any provider and your own API key, or a local model. Choose Lamied Pro in the AI panel and pay.
Lamied Team
ETB 30,000 per month covers 3 members, including the owner. Choose Lamied Team in Plans, pay once, then add the other two members by email in AI settings. All three share the same Bedrock usage windows.
The usage meter shows the shared 5-hour session, 7-day and 30-day limits. Changing members or models does not reset the allowance. No provider API key is needed.
Lamied Ultra
One person, 9,800 ETB a month. Ultra adds the strongest models Lamied hosts: Kimi K3, GLM 5.3, Gemini 4 Argon, Gemini 3.8 Flash, with no API key. Lamied's everyday models are included too, for routine work.
- Choose Lamied Ultra in the AI panel and pay.
- In AI settings choose Lamied Ultra as the provider and click Save, then pick an Ultra model with
/model. See Models and providers.
Usage limits
Ultra is metered like other AI subscriptions: by how much the models work, not by the number of messages. Longer tasks and stronger models use more.

Pay by bank or Telebirr
- Choose your plan in the AI panel. The checkout opens inside the panel.
- Choose CBE, BoA or Telebirr. Each tab shows the amount, the account or phone number (with a Copy button) and the account name.
- Transfer the amount from your bank or Telebirr app.
- Upload a screenshot or statement of the transfer. Adding the transaction reference is optional; it helps us match your payment faster.
- You'll see “Receipt received. Confirming your payment takes around 30 minutes.” You can close the checkout and keep working. Pro turns on in the app the moment your receipt is approved.

If a receipt is rejected, the checkout shows the reason and you can upload a new one. An approved receipt is deleted immediately; a rejected one is deleted after 7 days.
The waitlist, promo codes and financial aid
If you can't pay right now, choose Join the waitlist in the AI panel. When your turn comes, you get one month of Pro free and an email saying so, and the panel unlocks on its own.
You can also apply for financial aid by emailing [email protected].
In your email, include the email address of your Lamied account and a short note on why you're applying. If your application is approved, we reply with a promo code. To redeem it:
- Sign in to Lamied.
- In the AI panel, type the code into Have a promo code? and click Redeem (or press Enter).
- Pro turns on immediately.

When Pro turns on
Lamied listens for changes to your subscription, so Pro unlocks within a second of a payment being confirmed, a receipt being approved or a code being redeemed. There's no need to restart or sign in again. If you were offline at that moment, it catches up as soon as you reconnect.
