Account and sign-in
Create an account, verify your email, sign in, and see what Pro unlocks.
Free and Pro
The whole editor is free, with no account. The AI features need Lamied Pro, which needs an account.

Pro unlocks the AI features; the model itself is yours to choose. Before using the assistant, connect a provider such as OpenAI, Claude or Gemini with your own API key, or a local model. On the Team plan you can also use Lamied-hosted models with no key. See Models and providers.
Create an account
- Click Upgrade in the status bar, or Sign in in the AI panel, then choose to create an account.
- Enter your email and a password of at least 8 characters.
- A phone number is optional. If you add one, use the international format, for example
+251910101010. Each phone number can belong to only one account. - Submit. Lamied shows Check your email.
Verify your email
We email you a Verify email link. Open it and the page confirms “Email verified. Return to Lamied and sign in.” Meanwhile Lamied notices straight away and switches to Sign in with your email and password already filled in.
- The link works once and expires after 24 hours. Requesting a new link cancels the old one.
- No email? Choose Resend email. You can resend once a minute. Check your spam folder too.
- Signing up again with the same email and password before verifying just sends a new link, so you never get stuck with an account you can't verify.
Sign in and out
Sign in with your email and password. You stay signed in on that computer for 30 days. Payment options and the promo code field only appear once you're signed in.
Get Pro
Once signed in, choose a plan in the AI panel (or click Upgrade in the status bar): Student, Developer or Team. You can also enter a promo code, or join the waitlist if you can't pay. Pro turns on in the app as soon as your payment is confirmed. There is nothing to restart. Plans, prices, payment methods and promo codes are on Billing and Pro.
Three separate sign-ins

Setting up one never configures the others. A GitHub sign-in or a provider key does not unlock Pro.
