These terms apply when you use the Lamied desktop app, the Lamied website or Lamied Pro, which are provided by Lamied (“we”). By using them, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Your licence to use Lamied
Lamied is proprietary software owned by Lamied. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install Lamied on your computers and use it. You may not sell or redistribute it, or copy, modify or reverse-engineer it, except where the law allows you to.
Your account
Some features need a Lamied account. Give accurate information, keep your password secret, and tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account. Each phone number can belong to only one account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Lamied Pro and payments
- Lamied Pro unlocks the AI features, on one of three plans: Student, Developer or Team. One payment, by CBE, BoA or Telebirr transfer, buys one month of the plan you choose (Lamied Pro (Student) 499 ETB, Lamied Pro 1,199 ETB, Lamied Team 30,000 ETB, Lamied Ultra 9,800 ETB). - The Student plan is for current students only and needs a student ID we have approved; we may decline an ID we can't verify. The Team plan is paid per member, for at least 3, by the person who adds the members; its Lamied-hosted models come with a monthly usage allowance, and we may stop hosted-model requests once a team has used it.
- Paying while Pro is active adds the month on top of the time you have left. Pro does not renew automatically: when your month ends, the AI features lock until you pay again.
- Bank and Telebirr payments are confirmed by reviewing the receipt you upload, usually within about 30 minutes. If we can't verify a receipt, we reject it and tell you why, and you can upload another.
- A promo code gives one month of Pro, can be used once, and must be redeemed within 30 days of being issued.
Payments and refunds
You're never charged or credited twice for the same order. If you paid but Pro didn't turn on, email [email protected] with your receipt or transaction hash, and we'll turn Pro on or refund the payment. Pro is prepaid one month at a time and doesn't renew, so we don't refund time you have already received, except where the law requires it.
AI features and your providers
The AI features use the model provider you choose, with your own API key, or a model running on your own computer. Your use of a provider is governed by its terms, and it bills you for its usage; Lamied Pro doesn't include provider usage.
AI output can be wrong or insecure. Review changes, run your tests and read commands before you approve them. Commands run with your own permissions on your computer, not in a sandbox. You are responsible for the code you ship and the commands you approve.
Your code
You own your code and everything you create with Lamied. We claim no rights in it.
Acceptable use
Don't use Lamied or our services to break the law, to attack or disrupt other systems, to abuse our payment or promo-code systems, or to interfere with the service or other people's use of it. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
Changes to Lamied and to these terms
We may add, change or remove features. If we change these terms, we'll publish the new version here and update the date at the top. If you keep using Lamied after a change, the new terms apply.
Disclaimers and liability
Lamied is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about Lamied beyond those in these terms, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by AI output, by your AI provider or by commands you approve. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that can't be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ethiopia.
